Anka Mulder appointed as Vice-President for Education & Operations of TU Delft
Anka Mulder is my boss at the the department of Education & Student Affairs. In 2011 she got additional responsibilities as secretary-general of the university. Today we received the announcement that she will succeed Paul Rullmann as Vice-President of Education & Operations in the Executive Board of the university:
The Supervisory Board has appointed Anka Mulder as Vice-President for Education & Operations, starting from 1 April 2013. In this position she will be succeeding Paul Rullmann, who is retiring.
The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board are delighted with this appointment. “We are convinced that in Anka Mulder we have found a worthy successor to the praiseworthy figure of Paul Rullmann,” said Gert-Jan Kramer, chairman of the Supervisory Board at TU Delft. President Dirk Jan van den Berg: “Anka Mulder has already done fantastic work for TU Delft, for example in the field of ‘online education’. Her appointment means that the important contribution made by Paul Rullmann in terms of education will also be secure in the future.”
Anka Mulder has been Director of Education and Student Affairs (E&SA) since 2004. She is also President of the international OpenCourseWare Consortium. In addition to being Director of Education and Student Affairs, she has also held the post of Secretary General of the University since 1 July 2011.
The last two years I have worked closely with Anka to support her as President of the OpenCourseWare Consortium. I'm very proud that she got this job and I think she will do a very good job. For Open Education at TU Delft it is also important to have such an advocate of open education in the Board. Although we can't complain about the other board members.
