Sinds enige tijd heeft Blackboard de omgeving voor ontwikkelaars omgedoopt naar EduGarage:

Hello World!  We are excited to announce the release of EduGarage, the new home of the Blackboard Developers Network.  EduGarage is the place developers can meet to collaborate, leverage expertise and find all the resources they need to build powerful, successful educational tools.  This website is based on feedback from the community - we couldn't have done this without you.  EduGarage has a lot to offer including:

• Combine separate groups into one, powerful network with one login - since the merger with WebCT two years ago, we have had several different groups of developers that will now join forces into one Blackboard Developers Network.
• Enable better interaction and collaboration - No longer is the developer site just for downloading the SDK (although you can do that too!) EduGarage is built on a wiki framework with embedded forums so developers can interact, participate and share expertise easily with other developers across institutions, across the globe.
• Create a more open, externally accessible site that developers can access and add to the content and communication, and then share all of that knowledge and experience with the rest of the education world.
  

Als ik de site nu bekijk, moet ik zeggen dat ze dit goed gedaan hebben. EduGarage bevat nu veel informatie die vroeger overal verspreid stond en elke dag komt er nog meer informatie bij. Dit is een echte aanrader voor de Blackboard ontwikkelaars!
