BbWorld 2007 presentaties
Gisteren kreeg ik het bericht dat mijn beide voorstellen voor de BbWorld Europe-conferentie zijn goedgekeurd. Die Amerikanen weet het toch altijd weer goed te verwoorden ;-)
This year, we received over 100 proposals. This left Blackboard and the Client Program Committee with the difficult task of choosing from many high-quality submissions. Your proposal represented the best of Blackboard client innovation and we are eager to showcase you and your institution.
Ik heb een voorstel samen met Bert Frissen, Patrick Klaassen en Henk van Rijssen ingediend met als titel “A Blackboard Building Block Exchange in Dutch Higher Education”. De korte beschrijving is als volgt:
Four Dutch institutions (Leiden University, Avans University, ROC Midden-Nederland and Delft University of Technology) have initiated as cofounders a Bb Building Blocks eXchange community to use each others Building Blocks, to develop Building Blocks together and to exchange practical knowledge about Building Block development topics, and of course inform each other about which Building Blocks are available.
Verder heb ik namens de TU het voorstel met de titel “Meeting Student Demand using Blackboard as a Portal”. De korte beschrijving is als volgt:
Delft University of Technology is using Blackboard as their main portal for students. With Blackboard and their Building Block technology we can deliver personalized information to students, which includes their grades, individual study program, exams, digital study guide, software downloads, schedules, virtual drive, portfolio’s and more.
Dus nu hebben we alle reden om naar Nice te gaan eind februari.
